A Profile Gauge is a tool designed to record the cross-sectional shape of the surface of an object. It has a set of steel pins which are set tightly against one another and are secured within a frame.
When pressed against an object the outline shape, or profile, is then transformed on to the Profile Gauge allowing it to be copied to another surface. This is a fantastic tool and is ideal for using with flooring, tiling, woodwork and plumbing tasks.
